Delhi Medical Assistant: Keeping in mind the speed of Corona in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement. Keeping in mind the protection from the third wave, the Delhi government has decided to make bumper vacancies of medical assistants in the state. Kejriwal told that recruitment will be done on a total of 5 thousand posts. The online application process for this is starting from today i.e. 17th June 2021.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given this information in a live press conference today. He said that the Delhi government will make recruitment for 5000 posts of Community Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant. The CM further said that the recruitment will be on first-come-first-served basis. Whereas interested and eligible candidates can check the website of Delhi Government for more details. Also told that training will be given in batches of 500-500 youth.
Candidates applying for the post of Medical Assistant should have passed class 12 examination from a recognized board. Along with this, the selected candidates will be given training by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. These 5000 assistants will be trained for 2 weeks each in batches of 500 commencing from June 28, 2021. The age of the candidates applying for the post of Medical Assistant should be 18 years.
The government will accept online applications for the Medical Assistant posts removed by the Delhi government. At the same time, eligible and interested candidates can keep an eye on the official site of Delhi Government for more updates regarding the notification. The selected candidates will be trained in paramedics, life care, home care, injecting vaccines and collecting samples, among others.
Recruitment to assist doctors and nurses
At the same time, as per the announcement, candidates should keep in mind that the medical assistants recruited will only assist doctors and nurses. They will not have any decision-making power in the treatment of the patient.
