Indian Army TGC Recruitment: Golden chance for Engineering graduates to join Army, here’s how to apply

New Delhi: Indian Army has invited applications for the recruitment of male engineering graduates for its 134th Technical Graduate Course (TGC) which will commence from January 2022. It is a golden opportunity for Engineering graduates seeking to make a career in the Indian Army and serve the country.

Candidates should possess an Engineering degree in various disciplines including Information Technology, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication etc.

Candidates, who have yet to pass their degree examination, will be eligible only if they are studying in the final year of the degree examination.

The training will be conducted at Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for permanent commission in the Indian Army.

The online application started on August 17 and the last date to register is September 15, 2021.

Indian Army TGC Recruitment – Age Limit:

Minimum age: 20 Years, Maximum age: 27 Years. Candidates born not earlier than January 2, 1995, and not later than January 1, 2002, will be eligible to apply.

Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lt from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at IMA, whichever is later. On successful completion of training, cadets will be granted permanent commission in the Army in the rank of Lieutenant.

Indian Army TGC Recruitment – Stipend and Salary

The duration of training is 49 weeks. A stipend of Rs 56,100 per month will be given to the trainees.

On completion of training, the cadets will be appointed as Lieutenant on Level 10 pay scale which ranges from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Other allowances will also be applicable.

Delhi Medical Assistant: There will be recruitment of 5000 medical assistants in Delhi, Chief Minister gave information

Delhi Medical Assistant: Keeping in mind the speed of Corona in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement. Keeping in mind the protection from the third wave, the Delhi government has decided to make bumper vacancies of medical assistants in the state. Kejriwal told that recruitment will be done on a total of 5 thousand posts. The online application process for this is starting from today i.e. 17th June 2021.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given this information in a live press conference today. He said that the Delhi government will make recruitment for 5000 posts of Community Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant. The CM further said that the recruitment will be on first-come-first-served basis. Whereas interested and eligible candidates can check the website of Delhi Government for more details. Also told that training will be given in batches of 500-500 youth.

 

Qualifications

Candidates applying for the post of Medical Assistant should have passed class 12 examination from a recognized board. Along with this, the selected candidates will be given training by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. These 5000 assistants will be trained for 2 weeks each in batches of 500 commencing from June 28, 2021. The age of the candidates applying for the post of Medical Assistant should be 18 years.

CISCE ISC Result 2021: ISC 12th result can be declared by July 20, marksheet can be made from internal marks

Supreme Court hearing

A Public Interest Litigation was filed in the Supreme Court by Advocate Mamta Sharma seeking cancellation of CBSE and CISCE Class 12 board examinations and release of result option at the earliest. The last hearing of the case was held on 3 June 2021, during which Supreme Court judges, Justice A. A division bench of M. Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari had asked both CBSE and CISCE boards to submit within two weeks ‘evaluation criteria’ for evaluation of class 12 students.

Advocate Mamta Sharma had expressed concern that the boards need to expedite the process. He had said that last year this process was conducted before July 15. There are 1.2 crore students with the state boards and some state boards have not yet taken any call on the class 12th board exam 2021 whether to conduct the exam or not.

Kerala Chief Minister: State’s public examinations can be held now…

New Delhi: Kerala’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, has said that the state’s public examinations can now be held as Covid-imposed limitations have been lifted in the state. On June 15, the Chief Minister said that the relaxation of limitations was due to a drop in current Covid cases. Vijayan, on the other hand, has advised people to maintain and follow safety precautions in the fight against the coronavirus.

Kerala had a daily increase of 7,719 Covid cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections to 27,35,958, with 161 fatalities bringing the death toll to 11,342. When asked about Kerala’s Test Positivity Rate, the Chief Minister stated that all districts except Thiruvananthapuram, where the positivity rate was below 15%.

Kerala government has scheduled the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary practical exams from June 21 to July 7. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the state administration conducted virtual reopening of schools and launched online classes for pupils through its education channel Kite Victers last week for the second year in a row.

In addition, the government is taking steps to bridge the digital divide among students. During the COVID-19 era, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan declared that internet access and digital devices will be offered to all students in the state, regardless of their financial or geographical limitations, so that they may take online lessons without any issues.

“Relaxation in lockdown will be allowed on the basis of test positivity rate under local self-government bodies. Local bodies with below 8 per cent test positivity rate (TPR) to function normally with restrictions, the opening of shops will also be allowed,” chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Tuesday while relaxing the lockdown in the State.

CBSE 12th Exam Results 2021: Committee to submit its report on June 18

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier formed a committee to decide an evaluation criteria to declare the results of the Class 12th examinations which couldn’t be held due to the pandemic. The committee will be submitting its report on June 18. The 13-member panel, set up by the board for deciding the criteria, was supposed to submit its report by Monday, June 14 but they were delays as the members had invited suggestions from stakeholders from every State board. The CBSE exams were cancelled considering the “safety and interest of students” amid Covid-19 situation.

According to rumours, the panel members are seriously considering to take into account marks scored by students in Class 10 and Class 11 besides pre-board and internal exams for Class 12. A leading daily repoeted, schools have also been asked to judge students on the basis of their past performance from the last three years and to also choose the year when they did best.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has written to the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, suggesting that the result for class 12 students, whose exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, should be tabulated taking into account the marks scored during class 10, 11 and pre-board exams.

The Board on June 1 cancelled the examinations for class 12 students following a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi said officials “to ensure that the Class 12 results are prepared in accordance with “well-defined criteria, in a fair and time-bound manner”.

In the meeting, PM Modi had also said, “students who remain dissatisfied with their Class 12 marks, and want to appear in the exam, will be given a chance to improve their scores when the situation becomes conductive.”
